◢ First Impressions

♦ VISUAL: Relatively small, slender, and lithe. Violently blue skin with dark pits for eyes. Generally very fast and light on their feet, as well as unexpectedly strong. Never without their companion sprite, a small, non-sentient creation that hovers a few inches above their shoulder and assists them in communication and battle.
♦ FASHION: Wears a flowing red cloak along with black armor underneath, coupled with a gray and red horned helm. Their clothes are well-worn and somewhat tattered but sturdy enough to have lasted them for a while.
♦ AURAL: Silent. Generally makes very little noise as they walk. Their companion sprite often makes a soft little "ping" noise, similar to the sound of a small glass bottle being struck, when its functions are being called upon.
♦ OLFACTORY: Nothing of note. Those with a particularly strong sense of smell may pick up the pungent odor of someone who's rather ill in the heart, chest, and lungs, as well as the smell of their blood whenever they go coughing it up - which is often.
♦ DEMEANOR: Mute, stoic, and polite. Generally does not communicate unless there is something important to say, and will generally use as few words as possible to the point of potentially frustrating vagueness. Their companion sprite will project said words as necessary on a pink, semi-transparent HUD.

♦ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Probably not? They won't know what to do with it.
♦ HUGGING: They will????? be very??? alarmed????? but please do hug them they need it
♦ FLIRTING: lol what are they gonna do with that? nothing. nothing i tell you.
♦ SEX: That's a hard No, Never.
♦ RELATIONSHIPS: Also a hard No, Never.
♦ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Absolutely. In fact, probably a given.
♦ KILLING: Let's talk about it first please!
♦ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Nothing of note. They have no particular barriers to mental invasion. While they are silent in practice, their mind is generally orderly and direct, with an incredible mental focus devoted to one singular goal, which is usually "find a cure."
♦ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Nothing of note. The Drifter's race is very definitely not human and the technology in the world of Hyper Light Drifter appears to straddle the line between electronics and outright arcane arts, so it can be presumed it's a fair blend of the two. The Drifter does not have a word for their race.
♦ MEDICAL INFORMATION: As mentioned, their race is not human (it's doubtful humans exist in this world) though, aside from their skin tone and eye color, there are no specific deviations from your standard humanoid. Therefore their biology is largely unknown, and the Drifter does not know very much about their race either. They've been struggling with a terminal illness for quite a while, and eventually embarked on a desperate quest to find a cure. The result of this illness has essentially shredded their vocal cords and rendered them mute. They bleed a bright pink liquid that fizzles and rapidly evaporates not long after contact with the ground; this will likely appear when they're heavily injured or when dealing with a coughing fit brought about by their illness.
♦ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS/TRIGGERS: None for them.
♦ CONTENT WARNINGS: The Drifter's tags are likely to include references to their terminal, incurable, and life-threatening illness. It is unnamed in canon and I will continue to uphold that, but anyone who would rather not hear about that may feel more comfortable opting out. They are also are a silent protagonist which I know is not everyone's bag, albeit one capable of text-based communication.
